A little bit about me.

Hello everyone, I'm Angie. I'm a Montessori trained teacher with 7 years teaching experience specializing in the the 0-3 age group. I moved to Portugal with my husband and 2 beautiful boys (aged 2 and 5) in 2021. Our eldest goes to Nobel International school and our youngest really is the reason why I started Angie's Montessori Club. Finding a quality daycare with availability was a bit of a challenge and I quickly realized, if you want to do something right, you've got to do it yourself. With support from family and friends I was able to start and grow Angie's Montessori Club from a handful of children to a fully thriving kindergarten environment. At such a young age, it is vital that our little treasures receive the attention they need which is why I had to expand my teaching team in order to keep a very healthy child:teacher ratio.

Kelsea

Hiya, I'm Kelsea, a mother of 2. I moved to Portugal in 2021 and run the tots group at the ICC church at Vale Judeu with my husband. I have a passion for teaching little ones and am proud to be part of the AMC team.

I enjoy dance and bring that enthusiasm to my weekly dance lessons.

Maria

Hi, I'm Maria. I am Portuguese and have a lifetime of experience taking care of young children. I enjoy the work environment and being able to bring some Portuguese language to the classroom.

Each week I run the PE class and love seeing the children's smiles as we move our bodies.

Isa

Hi, I'm Isa. I am Portuguese and have been teaching professionally for the past 5 years. Working at Angie's is different to any other daycare I have worked at because there are no screens and there is a lot more staff to take care of the children.

I lead the arts and crafts each week as well as Portuguese circle times with some of my favorite songs.

Shirley

Hi, I'm Shirley. I'm from South Africa but moved here with my family several years ago. I speak Portuguese and have a passion for teaching. I joined Angie's in the summer of 23 and have learnt so much under her guidance.

I bring to the team my playful energy and weekly music lessons.
